Festive Events for the Whole Family

The most wonderful time of the year is finally here! The streets are filled with bright lights and the shops with festive tunes. During the holiday season, we’re especially grateful to live in such a community-focused family friendly community such as The Woodlands! 

Even though some things might look a little bit different this time around, there are still many fun local events that the whole family can enjoy!

Drive Thru Christmas Light Show

Enjoy a spectacular Christmas light show right from the comfort of your own car! Hurricane Harbor Splashtown is making holiday activities safe and easy this year, with their nightly light show from 5:30-10pm! 

Contactless Photos With Santa

Santa Claus is back at Market Street! Next to Tory Burch, you can find Santa in a wonderful workshop-themed setting, specially designed so that he and his visitors stay at a safe distance. While no masks are required for the photo op, be sure to make a reservation ahead of time! Learn more here.

Market Street Light Show

From now until December 31st, head to Market Street to catch the dazzling Christmas  tree light show, synchronized to holiday music. This performance happens daily, every hour on the hour, from 5 to 9 pm! It presents the perfect opportunity to shop for gifts, grab a hot chocolate and watch the display! Learn more here.

Jingle Boats at Riva Row Boat House

The Riva Row Boat House has dreamed up a fun, festive activity perfect for families with young children! Hop on a kayak in search for presents located along the local shores! This quest is sure to have your little ones wishing for a kayak this Christmas! Join in on the fun from 2-3 pm on December 18th, 20th and 27th.

Outdoor Christmas Movie

On Friday, December 18th at 6pm, experience the tale of How the Grinch Stole Christmas at Family Movies on the Plaza in CityPlace Springwoods Village!
